Jet Rescue completes second transport with extracorporeal circulatory support device

Jet Rescue, the leading Mexican and Latin American air ambulance company, has announced the completion of its second transport of highly specialized extracorporeal circulatory support device. Jet Rescue continues to be one of only a handful of air ambulance programs in the world capable of extracorporeal circulatory support for both pediatric and adult patients and the only one in Latin America.

The CentriMag blood pump is an extracorporeal circulatory support device providing hemodynamic stabilization in patients in need of cardiopulmonary support.


On its fleet of medical aircraft, Jet Rescue has the capability of transporting this critical patients and their sophisticated equipment bedside to bedside. Jet Rescue medical staff undergoes extensive Centrimag training in order to treat patients whose conditions include both congenital and acute cardiac failure.
